“I’m just not good at science” is a phrase I aim to eradicate from the students I encounter. As a teacher it is my goal to inspire a passion for scientific inquiry and as tutor to instill confidence in a student’s performance. After having graduated from UF with a B.S. in Microbiology and Cell Science I decided to pursue a career in teaching. With 6 years of experience I continue to enjoy the opportunity to positively impact the lives of my students as a 10th grade Chemistry instructor at Pine Crest School. In addition to Chemistry, I also have experience teaching Biology.

My tutoring sessions are structured to not only aid with content currently covered in each course but also strengthen the skills needed to succeed in Chemistry and Biology. Whether struggling with practice problems or conceptual comprehension of laboratory content, I believe it essential to fill any gaps in understanding as these subjects continue to build and rely upon a solid grasp of prior lessons.
