About this course
Students enrolled in AP literature courses will gain two main rhetorical skills: to cognitively analyze a piece of literature and to argue their unique analysis in writing. Instructors who help students form these skills will introduce them to fiction, poetry, and drama from any era and across many cultures. They will guide students on the many necessary aspects of closely analyzing these texts by recognizing the literary techniques placed in the works of art by various authors. AP literature tutors help students go beyond basic reading comprehension, their students will gain a sense of critical thinking and the ability to draft argumentative, thesis-driven writing. Not only are these skills necessary to pass AP Literature exams, they will set students up for success for their upcoming college careers by granting them the ability to form their own creative argument.
