About this course
Environmental science introduces students to basic scientific principles, concepts and methodologies required to understand the interrelationships of the natural world. Tutors in this subject will help students with interdisciplinary topics, ranging from geology to biology, environmental studies, chemistry and geography. Themes of this subject could include but are not limited to: energy conversions, ecological processes, the Earth (its formation, history, geographical context, etc.), environmental issues as a cultural and social contextual problem, and achieving sustainable systems, energy resources and consumption, and pollution.
