Organic chemistry tutors will help students retain necessary background knowledge in the chemistry of carbon-basedcompounds. These tutors will encourage students to fully understand the basics of quantum theory and will cover more specific topics such as stereochemistry, synthesis, properties, and reactions of the major classes of organic compounds. Through different types of instruction (lab-oriented or otherwise) students will learn the fundamental elements of organic chemistry by describing mechanisms of organic reactions, analyzing the nature of a reagent, and/or observing organic laboratory procedures and experiments.
