I am very passionate about my craft and my desire to share my love for my subject-areas with every student I teach.

Hello. This is my story.

My name is Alisa Manne. I am originally from New York City where I received my master’s degree in education in May 2015 from Brooklyn College. I taught for four years at Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn and received my tenure from the superintendent in May 2016. Before moving to Palm Beach County, I taught biology, Spanish and writing. I am currently an educator at Santaluces High School in the areas of earth and space science, environmental science and biology. My pedagogical philosophy consists of engaging all students in challenging, worthwhile ideas and concepts with emphasis on utilizing multiple sources of knowledge, the value of making connections between academic content and real-life experiences and the importance of collaborative learning and self-reflection. I am very passionate about my craft and my desire to share my love for my subject-areas with every student I teach.
