Hello. This is my story.

I currently teach in Palm Beach County at Santaluces High School in Lake Worth. I graduated from the University of Miami with a B.S. in News Print Journalism and Creative Writing in 1994 and have called Palm Beach County my home for the past 30 years. I teach English grades 9-11 and AP Language and Composition in addition to chairing the English department and mentoring new teachers. In addition, I am certified by SAT’s Collegeboard to tutor for the SAT college entrance exam. My specialty and passion is working with motivated high school students that want to increase their college entrance scores and attend the university of their dreams. My SAT experience and training with SAT’s Collegeboard curriculum allows me to create an individualized SAT test preparation program based on the individual student’s strengths and needs. In addition, I work closely with students and parents on “packaging” themselves and advise on scholarship opportunities. I firmly believe that EVERY student has the ability to be successful and further his or her education.
