Hello. This is my story.

I was born and raised in Palm Beach County. I attended the University of Miami on a baseball scholarship. After graduating with a degree in Geographic Information Systems, I pursued my dream of playing professional baseball for 2 years. During that time in the off seasons, I would substitute teach at my high school alma mater, Lake Worth High. When my baseball career didn’t work out, I was hired by Lake Worth High to teach engineering, and to coach baseball. Well, 25 years later I am still teaching at Lake Worth High School. I have primarily taught economics for the past 15 years, and it is my passion in the classroom.

I work hard to teach students to their individual needs. Part of the economics curriculum is personal finance, and it is this piece that allows me to learn so much about the backgrounds of my students. It helps me relate to their needs now, and to what their goals are for the future.
