I am passionate about teaching both children and adults.  My favorite part is seeing the "switch go on" when a challenging concept becomes clear.

Hello. This is my story.

I work full-time as the Director of Population Health for Broward Health in Fort Lauderdale.  I have been an adjunct professor for Florida Atlantic University since 2010, where I teach Bachelors and Masters level students Research Methods, Social Work and Health Policy, International Social Work, and Trauma.  I graduated from Oberlin College with a double B.A. in English and Psychology, for which I received High Honors.  I have been in South Florida since 2004 and have two children who go to school in Palm Beach.  I taught Hebrew school while living in Boston to Kindergarten and 5th grade students.

I am passionate about teaching both children and adults.  My favorite part is seeing the “switch go on” when a challenging concept becomes clear.  I pride myself on my ability to connect with my students where they are and work to bridge that to understanding that which is seen as an obstacle today.  My background in social work, education and healthcare has shown me that everyone has the capacity for great things, regardless of the challenges they face.
