Hello. This is my story.

I am a classically and jazz-trained musician making my living as a secondary mathematics and social studies teacher. I have been teaching in Florida for the past 5 years.

In 2013 I moved here from Wisconsin, where I spent most of my life and spent 11 years working as a professional musician. My resume contains a mix of music, history and math, and I am excited at the opportunity to work with students needing tutoring. I was trained to teach with the end result in mind, tailoring instruction based on the desired outcomes and my students’ unique needs and strengths. My style is to be hands-on and minds-on, using real-world, useful tools and strategies to make your learning time fun and efficient.!
