I have experience teaching students with learning differences, and apply a multi-sensorial approach in the classroom.
Hello. This is my story.
I am certified through the state of Connecticut in grades K-6, and have a Master’s degree in Education from a private Connecticut university. I am also a certified Reading Specialist through the state of Florida. For the majority of my 18-year career, I have taught early childhood. I also served as an early childhood coordinator/reading specialist at an international school in the Dominican Republic for over six years. I have experience teaching students with learning differences, and apply a multi-sensorial approach in the classroom. I am certified in Orton Gillingham, have experience with the Lindamood-Bell program and a variety of other intervention programs. I am currently teaching Kindergarten at a public school in Boca Raton. Adapting my teaching style to meet the learning style of my students is my superpower; teaching reading and writing is my passion.
