Hello. This is my story.
I have a Bachelor’s in Media Communication Studies with a double major in Italian Studies and minor in Film Studies from Florida State University. After graduating, I landed a job at a digital marketing agency in West Palm Beach but shortly realized it wasn’t the right fit for me. I decided to go back to school to pursue my passion for education and languages. I received my Master’s from Florida Atlantic University in Comparative Literature with specialization in Italian and Peninsular Spanish.
I taught Spanish I and II and Italian I for two years at Florida Atlantic University and loved it. In addition, I was an instructor for the Continuing Education Language Program, Owlingua, for a year where I taught Beginner Italian for a group of adult women who had a passion to learn the language and culture.
Fall 2023, Spanish teacher at Dr. Joaquin Garcia High School.
Aside from my teaching background, I have experience tutoring children, teenagers, and adults in Spanish.
Teaching Philosophy.
The beauty of language is the ability to communicate with others who speak the same tongue. The true blessing, however, comes from the language’s culture that is taught alongside it, fostering the ability to create a connection that can last a lifetime.I received my Master’s from Florida Atlantic University in Comparative Literature with specialization in Italian and Peninsular Spanish.
