Hello. This is my story.

I am currently a teacher at Deerfield Beach Elementary School teaching 2nd grade. I have previously worked at the middle school level, high school and on the college level, teaching adults. As an educator, I have taught every level of education and conversely have been a life- long learner for 30 years. As such, I am uniquely qualified to handle challenging scenarios. As a Navy Brat, I moved many times during my formative years and had to miss school at times because of relocation. I understand how it feels to fall behind and needing to “catch up”. Perhaps because of determination and a bit of aptitude, falling behind did not hinder my education. I have earned my Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degrees. Along the way, I have become a “seasoned” cook and have surprisingly taught cooking classes! As a life- long learner, I have also earned my real estate license, a law degree, and have learned how to fly a small aircraft. Math and Science not my major, but, a major component to learning about finance and flying.I have an enthusiasm that is unparalleled, and I am blessed to now surround my life with the innocence and joy of young children. It has been my biggest accomplishment to see my students excel in a creative and fun environment. It has kept me current and energized. I love my students AND my students love me!!
