Hello. This is my story.

Education is the key to prosperity and opens a world of opportunities, making it possible for future professionals to contribute to a safe, efficient, inclusive, and sustainable society. That’s what drives my love for tutoring people with the confidence to contribute to their academic success and personal growth!

I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Indiana Tech. My background has diverse academic and professional experience with science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines, including advanced mathematics, chemistry, and physics. I have developed my problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and collaborative teamwork approach, equipping me to inspire and motivate students to explore the fascinating world of STEM. Currently, I teach STEM elective classes at a private school focusing on engineering and mathematical concepts to students in grades 5-12.

Beyond academia, I am passionate about racket sports and language acquisition, I’m currently developing my fourth language. I am proficient in Spanish, and Portuguese, enabling me to provide tutoring services for these languages as well. My athletic journey includes professional tennis, semi-professional beach tennis, and my current pursuit of becoming a professional pickleball player.

Teaching Philosophy.

My philosophy is to learn through progressive learning and positive feedback. This consists in building a strong curriculum and fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. I believe that mathematics is best learned by understanding the core concepts behind mathematical principles, then strengthening that understanding of how the concepts interact and relate with each other is the key to thriving. That is why my lessons focus first with simple and straightforward examples so my students can build a strong foundation of the theory and feel confident moving forward with more advanced coursework. I am committed to providing accessible and personalized educational support to help students achieve their full potential.

I am excited for the opportunity to help any students that have the desire to excel in math, science or foreign languages at any grade level, along with any students that are hoping to ace the SAT. My lessons are tailored to the individual so that my students have the best chance to succeed. I am available every day of the week after 4 PM, and can meet at your house for in-home tutoring, online, or any nearby public library in the Broward and Palm Beach County area.
