Hello. This is my story.

My name is Santiago. I moved from Colombia to start high school in the US. I graduated in 2017 from South Broward High School in which I obtained my Cambridge AICE Diploma by successfully passing a myriad of AS and A level courses such as Math and Marine Science. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University in May of 2020 with a Bachelor in Biology and a minor in Pre-Health Studies while taking rigorous upper level biology and chemistry undergraduate courses, such as Histology,  Anatomy and Physiology, and Organic Chemistry. While performing research related to oral carcinomas and the effects of multiple proteins and chemicals on periodontal disease in the labs of the Dental School of Medicine of NSU. I graduated with my Master of Science in May of 2021 from NSU with honors. The entire time throughout all of my education, thus far, I have managed to assist my peers and colleagues understand subjects with ease by using my own learning/teaching methods.

Teaching Philosophy

Accept that you’re bound to make mistakes. Learn from those mistakes, internalize the flaws and elaborate on methods to enrich understanding of said mistakes to ensure an essential learning experience. I call that learning to learn. By understanding where you go wrong, eventually, academic problems resonate in the same frequency as your understanding to solve them.
