Hello. This is my story.
I am from New York, but have been down in sunny Florida since 2009. I originally graduated with a business degree and went back to school to earn a Masters in Elementary Education from Pace University in NY. I decided I couldn’t take the dreary office setting, so I traded it in for a crazy classroom! My first appointment was at a school for children with behavioral, emotional and social disorders. I loved it. I learned so much, and continue to learn from each coworker and student. Everyone has a different story, a different way of learning. I love when I see a student “get” it, whatever “it” is. In the past decade I have taught pre-kindergarten up through high school, and even taught English to adults. I have taught in private schools, public schools, and charter schools along with private and homeschool tutoring. I love doing it all!
I believe everyone has potential and every student is different. I excel at helping each student find what works for them so they can be successful. I believe in positive reinforcement, setting attainable goals, and building confidence in each student.
